Amboli - Weekend Fun at the Mystic lush green Western Ghats

Amboli - Mesmerizing experience !! 

It was one more lazy Sunday, Me and my colleague decided to go somewhere and the plan was to go in and around amboli to explore the scenic beauty of Western ghats.

Just 70km from Belgaum, Amboli attracts lots of tourists from North Karnataka. It’s a weekend hangout for many Belgaum people. Amboli is famous for its waterfalls and viewpoints. While monsoon is the best time to visit when waterfalls are in full, the post monsoon season provides some nice views.

After having some refreshment we drove towards amobli. We were a team of 3 -> Viresh sir, me & Vinayak. 
Very soon we entered Maharashtra. The difference was easily noticeable as there were no English boards and even the numbers were written in Marathi. But road quality was same as in Karnataka. Its pre monsoon, climate was humid and I was sweating and thought to go back to BELGAUM . But to my surprise there were drizzles as we neared to Hirenyakeshi.

This is the source of river Krishna and it owes its holy waters to the Shiva temple at the cave where the water originates.

Spot 2: Mahadevgad Point

Chilling weather and the natural beauty of green hills, soaked in mild showers and mystic fog is perfectly exquisite.

Surrounded by a thick canopy of trees and dense forest cover, when viewed from top gives a tranquilizing feel.

Spot 3: Kavala sath point

This view point is much more beautiful. It provides a complete view of the lush green valley. Several waterfalls can be seen on both sides of the valley. This will be an amazing place during monsoon.

Finally the actual spot to visit - AMBOLI WATERFALL

It was then time to visit Amboli waterfalls. It is just next to the main road. This is the only place in Amboli where you will find loads of people.  It is always filled with people. Steps are constructed to the falls. People take bath and spend a long time under water. <If u want good photos of falls without people , then visit on week days>

In all It was an amazing experience and a fun filled weekend. Cheers Viresh sir finally we executed the plan :D

Location : Amboli, Hill Station in Maharashtra (70km approx from Belgaum)

Best Time to Visit : During the monsoon or before winter

Transport : Road Transport is the only way. Should hire a local taxi.

Suggestion : Make sure you carry a raincoat if u visit the place during monsoon as it rains cats & dogs at Amboli. Also wear shoes to keep leech away from sucking ur blood. 

She walked away Love didn't

Usually an engineer's love story begins in college with a gorgeous dashing stunning engineering girl itself. But for Prateek it was a different story as he made a medico fall for him.

Prateek an engineer by profession & sheena - a medico; had a great bonding since the 12th standard. 
Every story has a feeling of fear and joy, and prateek's fear was 'i shud neva lose sheena'. His fear became a bitter truth and one fine day Sheena & prateek parted ways. It was on the day of first 6th sem final exams for prateek. He was devasted and shattered. Still he gathered courage and did well in exams.

Hubli climate was as usual cool & calm that evening. Prateek had finished his last lab external and was back to his hostel room and he broke down. He tried to contact sheena & the number was 'Switched off'.

Through her friends he came to know that she had stopped using cellphone. Now only option for prateek was to write a mail to sheena and express his feelings as how much he misses her. !!

June 8, 2010 - Prateek's mail to sheena read : 

"I have known u ever since I have known the true meaning of love. Love at first sight they say & I experienced the same when i stared into ur eyes. . It was awesome falling for u.
Every moment with u was magical. Every time we fell apart the magic vanished.  Its vanished fully today. :(
I Dono if we were meant to be together Or if we were the other halves of one another.

But, all I know is I'm so unconditionally and invocably in love with u.
U r the one who made me courageous. You're the only one I blindly relied on.
You were the one who strengthened me from within, driving away all my weaknesses.

Wen I think of us, I imagine us as a family. 
I'm not sure even if half of what I thought would appear to be true 
But that's a wish my heart made.

I'm the happiest wen u were by my side. & Sad wen u were away.
I smile wen I saw ur face. I blushed touching my lips to ur lips & i blushed more watching u sleep on my lap and I long for the same.

My love for u is pure, crystal clear n never ending & It goes from my heart to yours n will Neva dwine apart.
U made my soul feel complete. I have neva felt this way before. Every time I saw u i was pretty sure my heart skipped a beat because I felt it rejoiced with joy.
Seeing u tensed n calming u down were the best. 
Long drives ll stay forever in my heart. You came late to meet me many times,n I was just about to yell at u, ur arrival used to calm me down, my heart used to rejoice n that used to bring a blush on my face

I feel secure wen I'm with u. I feel it easy to breathe. My hands fit perfectly well on yours. 

I think bout u all the time. Even if I look away I think about u. 
With u I am in my senses & wen ur not with me I am out of my senses. 
I have gone through a lot. My body is wounded but my mind is at peace because of u. 
U mean everything to me. I would never let anything to happen to u. I will stand by you through thick n thin. I'll have ur back not only wen u need me even wen u don't. I would die before I could cheat on you.
Wish I could cherish our union forever. Wish I could be with u forever and love you more each day than I did the day before. 
I would trust you and respect you, laugh with you and cry with you, loving you faithfully through good times and bad, regardless of the obstacles we would face together.  I could have offered you my solemn vow to be your faithful partner in sickness and in health, in good times and in bad, and in joy as well as in sorrow.
